By Alex Bukowski

Client: Pulse Law
Industry: Legal Services
Product: AI-Powered Legal Assistant

Overview

Pulse Law worked with Gambit to rethink how legal strategy and document review. Like many firms, Pulse Law balanced speed and accuracy against the realities of traditional billing. To solve this, Gambit helped create AskTodd. This AI-powered legal assistant provides on-demand strategy and smarter document workflows.

Challenge

Traditional legal services are often built on billing models that make it harder to scale support and keep it accessible. At the same time, document review and editing can be slow and resource-heavy, especially when the process depends on manual analysis from start to finish.

Pulse Law needed a better way to review documents quickly without losing important context, and to reduce the workload on legal professionals without sacrificing quality.

Solution

Gambit introduced AskTodd, an AI-powered legal assistant that provides legal strategy through AI-driven document review and editing. Users could upload a document and receive structured analysis and suggested changes on demand.

What made AskTodd different was how it handled context. Instead of jumping straight into analysis, it asked key questions after a document upload to clarify intent and gather the details needed to interpret the document correctly. This helped ensure insights were more accurate and aligned with the user’s situation.

Results

AskTodd drove a 20% increase in internal efficiency, helping reduce manual workload for legal professionals and improving turnaround times.

It also proved to be effective for client conversion. 80% of users converted into paying clients, showing that a faster, more guided experience made legal support easier to move forward with.

Overall, AskTodd improved the speed and accuracy of document analysis by delivering more precise, context-aware insights that legal teams could act on quickly.
